Club Rivera

Club Rivera is the brainchild of Antonio Calandra and Francesco Arena, combining black music, house, hip hop and jazz with a Mediterranean vibe. Born in 2020 halfway between Italy and Sweden, involving both in the studio and live various musicians active in various parts of the world, started as an electronic duo, the Club Rivera project has evolved over the years, reversing course to land on more analog and electric sounds. Intrigued precisely by such a singular project, after hearing their debut single “Ike and Sean”, released this July 14, we ran to interview them. We talked about the dualities of their track and the beauty of intersecting different cultures, places and landscapes.
