Scruff is also known for all-night DJ sets that included everything from ’60s and ’70s soul-jazz and funk to scratchy old reggae and dub 45s, classic hip-hop and new-school electronica. His third full-length, 2002’s Trouser Jazz, was his most successful, reaching the Top 30 of the U.K. albums chart .


Gilles Peterson is a broadcaster, DJ and record collector who’s played a pivotal role in supporting forward-thinking underground music in the UK and beyond over the past three decades. He hosts weekly primetime Saturday afternoon show on BBC Radio 6 Music that’s one of the broadcaster’s most popular music shows, helms independent record label Brownswood Recordings, and is the founder of online radio station Worldwide FM.


Napoli Segreta is a duo of djs and diggers formed by Famiglia Discocristiana and DNApoli. a musical journey around the sonic landscapes of Naples you’ve never heard of: a variety of genres merging soul, disco, funk, blues, wave, afro-beat and boogie. Rbsn is an Italian-American musician, producer, composer and singer. Class ‘96 lives between Rome and San Francisco, his music combines psychedelia with jazz with songwriting sensitivity, with folk and electronic elements. In recent years he has performed for important events such as Tedx Roma and YpsigRock and after opening for THE BLAZE, Anna Calvi and Kiefer Rbsn’s music traveled all the way to RopeADope.


Alioscia Bisceglia is known as the project leader of the Casino Royale band formed in Milan in 1987. In 1991 he reopened the space of the former Cinema Zara transforming it and renaming it “Garigliano Social Club”. His recording work in the nineties saw the birth of three albums (Dainamaita, Ever Closer, CRX) and the opening of a Royality Records label. In 2001 he began collaborating with the Red Bull brand as the italian manager of the cultural marketing and training project linked to the Red Bull Music Academy. Finally He assumes the role of “music programming director” for the free-to-air television broadcaster ALL MUSIC of the l’Espresso group, a role that he will hold until 2015 in the media DEEJAY TV, developing formats and television programs and collaborating in the production of branded content with various companies.


Maria Chiara Argirò has been quietly weaving her way around the UK jazz, classical and electronic worlds. A pianist from the age of nine and a key player in the capital’s multi-national jazz scene, with her new album, Forest City, she finds a glistening thread between these movements: it marks her out as an exciting rising electronic artist, where jazz meets Kelly Lee Owens, Jon Hopkins and Radiohead.


Fusing her passion for nu jazz, neo-soul, afro riddims, broken beat & house together, LAANI’s eclectic and hypnotic style brings nothing but vibes to any dance floor. With a diverse range of knowledge and beats in her bag LAANI has been circulating the UK underground club scene, taking the controls at venues such as Oval Space, Corsica Studios, Colour Factory, Ronnie Scotts, The Jazz Café. Marco Buscema is the owner of the label ‘La Matta Tv’ and he comes from an alternative artistic environment in which Afro, Caribbean, jazz and funk influences have shaped his way of conceiving and producing music. His innovative vision is full of amazing surprises, very often retro in taste, it also derives from the many years spent in Latin America.
